Gershon Wolfe, Ph.D. has worked in magnetic resonance, bioinformatics, molecular diagnostics, molecular dynamics, Monte Carlo simulation, NLP, and machine learning for over 30 years with a stellar track record of successfully creating breakthrough technologies in the form of both physics-based and machine-learning computer algorithms. At Cipherica we are developing algorithms for decoding the molecular basis of disease that will unlock the next generation of drug discovery for use in precision medicine. Previous to founding Cipherica, Gershon has held scientific, director, vice president, and founder positions at Nalorac, Incyte Pharmaceuticals, Large Scale Biology, Predictive Diagnostics, Advanced ideas in Medicine, Sail Fin, System of System Analytics, Health Technology Incorporated, Graph Stacks, Optimus Prime, Algorhythms, and DigiTrax. Gershon has a B.S. in chemistry from UCLA, a Ph.D in physical chemistry from the University of Washington, and a postdoctoral fellowship in molecular dynamics from UCSF. Gershon’s hobbies include composing music, playing violin and guitar, weight lifting, film photography, slalom skateboarding, and exploring cool spots along the West Coast.
